NVIDIA Launches DGX Spark: The Compact AI Supercomputer
NVIDIA has unveiled the DGX Spark, a desktop-sized AI supercomputer designed to bring cutting-edge AI capabilities to developers worldwide. Built on the Grace Blackwell architecture, the system integrates NVIDIA's latest GPUs, CPUs, networking, and CUDA libraries, delivering a petaflop of AI performance and 128GB of unified memory. This enables local inference on models with up to 200 billion parameters and fine-tuning for models up to 70 billion parameters.
Major tech partners including Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, and Lenovo are rolling out DGX Spark systems, significantly expanding access to high-performance AI tools. The MOVE is poised to democratize AI development, reducing reliance on cloud or data center resources for advanced projects.
